  1. I could never get into the Star Fox series, despite playing some of the games. The only thing that got me interested was the amazing youtube videos “A Fox in Space”.

I MIGHT try again with this latest entry but it’s not a high-priority for me. I mean, I would have preferred something new to try but at least they aren’t charging the same MSRP as their other Switch 2 games.

          1. Yes. Too disorienting to play for me.
And I’ll get the rest out of the way: I played and beat Dinosaur Planet (but that doesn’t feel like a Star Fox game) and I tried Zero but I didn’t enjoy the controls. That’s my extent with the Star Fox series.

Personally, I think it’s just a case of “you had to be there.” I didn’t play it for the first time on the N64. I played it on Wii VC. I’d love to know the data but I feel like there’s probably not a lot of people who became fans of Star Fox 64 after playing post-N64 era.

            1. “I dislike the series, therefore everyone who does like it only does so because of nostalgia”.

Wow the people on this site are so cool and open-minded.

                1. I liked 64 3D but not enough to dive in the starfox franchise more so I kind of agree, that’s what bothers me with the remake, would have been way more interested if it was a new game in the series

  2. It’s such a missed opportunity to not make this opening prologue playable. Hell, they should have included a full remake of the snes game that is reworked plot wise to feature James and the old team.
