Capcom focussed on making sequels, remakes, ports for legendary franchises

Capcom has said in its recent financial report that it is focused on leveraging its vast amount of IPs. Whether that’s creating sequels, remakes or remasters or ports, Capcom plans to make use of all the tools at its disposal. Mega Man, Onimusha and Okami are just some of the games announced for existing series at Capcom. Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter edition was also recently rated for a Nintendo Switch 2 release. No doubt we will see more of these during the Summer Game Fest and the various conferences.

  1. Love to hear it. Capcom is a god-tier developer and (almost) everything they drop is fire. More Mega Man is a good thing! I’d love a remaster of Legends 1 & 2 with more modern controls!

  2. Mega Man Legends 3, remake 1 and 2, bring back Gotcha Force, Under The Skin, Star Force, Batte Network, Viewtiful Joe, Sengoku Basara, Crimson Tears, Gregory Horror Show, Power Stone, I don’t trust a remake but a port of Haunting Grounds, just saying.
