It looks as though the latest project from Playtonic has been leaked ahead of an official announcement. The new game is titled Super Yooka-Laylee Kart, which is pretty self explanatory. The game was spotted by eagle-eyed users on Steamdb, which is renowned for revealing unannounced titles. The latest X post from Playtonic hints at “faster ways to go” so an announcement is probably planned for Summer Game Fest.

Wonder if this will be yet another game that beats Nintendo’s lazy efforts..
8 years for MKW and no large story mode but DKR was created in a couple of years and still beats the majority of MK games.
I also messaged Playtonic like 2-3 years ago to ask if they’d make a DKR successor and got no response, no wonder!
Hopefully they make an adult themed Conker style game next.. but with how awfully woke the UK has become slowly over time I seriously doubt they’d have the balls to do It.
