Datamining reveals Monster Hunter Wilds Switch 2 could run at 1080p-1440p docked, 720p-864p handheld at 30-40fps

Dataminers have been checking the most recent update for Monster Hunter Wilds trying to glean some information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. By the looks of it, Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch 2 runs at a dynamic resolution in both docked mode and handheld. Docked can run at between 1080p and 1440p and handheld at 720p and 864p with the framerate being roughly 30-40fps. Monster Hunter Wilds performance hasn’t been the best on any platform, so hopefully the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is very well optimised come its release.

  1. I think it’s funny how bad this ran on modern platforms, and then the switch 2 is getting a pretty good looking version of this game. Capcom because a porting powerhouse when bringing games to the switch 2.

  2. As long as there are no slowdowns during fights and the monster encounters, then i am double dippin on this one. Also, does anyone know if you can save transfer from PS5/XBS to Switch 2? That would make me more than happy to get it there too.
