Level-5 has unveiled a remake of the much loved Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms for release in 2027. Professor Layton and the Curious Village was originally released on the super-popular Nintendo DS system back in 2007.

One of the most unnecessary “remakes” as there’s already HD versions available on mobile, which they could’ve ported to switch 1 & 2. I feel like the 3D does the DS games a disservice. If anything, they could’ve enhanced and ported the 3DS games to switch consoles
I agree, it feels like so many companies see 2D artwork as outdated and need fixing but it’s so unnecessary. The 2D artwork was beautiful.
I despise Level 5 using Fake Physical Key-Cards, Still regretting the Switch 2 because I will never buy a Key-Card and buying Digital is what they want so not doing that either
Then buy the original on DS.
I am the world’s biggest Layton fan AND EVEN THEN I GOTTA SAY these 3D models are POOP!!! COME ON, Still HOLY FLIP CURIOUS VILLAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
