Sickr: Advertising; You Either Love It Or Absolutely Hate It

amazon2

You may have noticed that I’ve added links to Amazon.com with what I believe to be the best games on either the Nintendo Wii or Nintendo DS.

I’ve noticed that since their inclusion on the site along with the recent design change, daily readership has dropped around roughly 20%.

Though I obviously can’t be 100% sure that it’s linked entirely to the adds or the design, it still concerns me either way.

To be honest only one person has actually purchased one of the items showcased on Amazon.com and 170 people have clicked through, so in total I’ve made around $1.

It’s not a huge effort to remove these links if anyone believes they’re a hindrance to the site, so hey, make sure to let me know via the comments if you find them annoying, or would prefer them to be removed.

Thanks,

Sickr
