In preparation for the hard-slog of the London Marathon a father and daughter team are encompassing the best in modern gaming technology for the gruelling feat, Wii Fit.
The runners, 20-year-old Katie McGregor and her father, Ian, are running the race in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. They believe intense sessions on Wii Fit, along with a their family treadmill, should enable them to train adequately for the heart-felt task ahead of them.

@Sheps ditto, I’d thought more smaller news outlets would cover this story as it’s a good concept and a noble cause. Sadly haven’t seen anything as of yet.
I’d be glad to pitch the story to a number of outlets. It is a good cause and inherently interesting because of the Wii Fit hook. Can anyone put those two in touch with me so I can develop the story and get it placed?
