GameStop has announced that gamers who pre-order Resident Evil: Revelations for Nintendo 3DS will receive an exclusive case for the system. The pre-order bonus bears “an image that changes in the sunlight” according to the items description. The game will be released in North America on February 7th and in Europe January 27th.

I must admit I wasn’t interested at first. I’m dissapointed in the direction the series has taken since 5, too much action and explosions and grotesque creatures, not enough survival horror. But this case does look pretty snazz, I might have to start doing research on what Revelations is like.
The developers have described it as a game that goes “back to the roots” of the series, in other words more HORROR.Awesome
Revelations basically uses RE 4’s and 5’s gameplay style; the over-the-shoulder camera thing with the option for a first person view. However, the structure of the game is based on the older RE games; meaning, they have small place, zombie-looking creatures, limited ammo, etc. You definitely need to look up info on this game as it is looking really good.
Resident Evil 5 was indeed the low point in the series, no horror at all and bad AI and a bad location for a Resident Evil game as well.
But this one looks pretty good, it really seems to set the atmosphere this time around.
i think i would’ve rather had a t-shirt, hat, or action figure to be honest.

And is it me or dose the 3DS look silver/grey to you?
Silver/ Gray? looks cosmos black to me.
But its not pitch black under the the DS where the bottom screen is.

its the cosmo one, the lower part isnt pitch black like top, and it does sirta look like dark grey
The cradle is grey I know but ive seen the cosmo black in person and its black every where but the top part aint metallic on the inside. Lol I should look at a pic right now and compare.

Definitely looks like a new color but it could be the lighting and be the cosmo black one. I cant wait for this by the way. I am really glad its early in the year and they are giving us a case!

But if Resident Evil is going to be compatible with the Slider Pad, then having a protective case would be kind of useless wouldn’t it??? You wouldn’t be able to use both at once…
The should have released a special edition slider pad with their logo and stuff on it instead.

You dont need the slider pad to play, has no one tried the demo? They had a touch screen second circle pad and I did not like it one bit.
