Two Colours For Wii U At Launch?

The Nintendo E3 product page suggests that you will be able to purchase either a white Wii U or a black Wii U console at launch. The Nintendo E3 page has been updated with images, allowing to select which colour you would like to view. The Wii U retail GamePad is glossy rather than matte, so you’ll be cleaning it fairly regularly.

      1. I’m sorry, but the line-up from Nintendo was either very casual or rehashes of older games. Pikmin 3 was the only decent thing I saw

        1. Suppose to have Casual Family games you know, it’s a home console for EVERYBODY, it’s gotta give them something to play as well as giving you what you want to play.

          1. And where were the hardcore franchises from Ninty. Or even hardcore games that weren’t remakes? (zombiu aside)

            1. Why can’t you wait instead of bitching like a 5 yr old. Zelda, metroid and others will appear in time…….making it seem like they’re gone forever. This was mainly a thirdparty show off and they have the hard cores your looking for.

  1. Just thought I’d say there’s some tech specs up bit very detailed but it does say classic controller will be supported too for those who worried

      1. “It’s official; Nintendo Wii U will come at quite the bargain for $699.99. This bundle includes The Wii U system, A Wii U Gamepad, Wii remote, Nunchuk, a Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller, 2TB hard drive, Nintendo Land (Rated E), Wii Sports U (Rated E), 1 year subscription to Nintendo Network (afterwards it’s $14.99 monthly or $99 annually), and lastly a nonspecific action figure (approximately 12 inches high).

Nintendo has also confirmed that Triple A titles and first party titles will cost $69.99 and if you want to buy another Wii U Gamepad it’s going to run you $299.99 for the controller itself. After these announcements are you still considering investing in the Nintendo Wii U?”

  2. The black looks sooo sexy but I’m getting white!! If I can get a black gamepad at a later date and sync it to my white Wii U that’d be kwl but I want white first!

  3. Black one for me. I got my gold Zelda Wii Remote and gold Nunchuk ready and waiting to go with. If no new 3DS model is announced by WiiU release I will also grab the black & gold Zelda 3DS. Black-gold is power pimpin’.
