        1. But our dollar is stronger (last I checked anyway) or at least equal so it’s still not completely fair. UK has lower prices than us, too.

          1. The reason Aussies pay so much, is because the expenses for retailers here is so god damn high. If say EB games sold at online prices from overseas, they’d cease to exist very quickly.

    1. Australians on average earn more than Americans, so that’s why the price is considerably higher than what America is getting. Furthermore, because the Australian Dollar is so high, Nintendo makes a much larger profit with products sold in Australia…

  1. Why does far cry 3 have to release on the same day :( getting 3 games at launch, plus this on pc, plus a 2tb portable hard drive. Going to spend just about $900 that day. Yes I’m in aus too.

  3. This SHOULD be more or less the same as Europe. I’m quite pleased by this as I work at Gamestation so my launch window will be cheap and full. There’s 5 games or so in there I’ve already got preordered.

        1. Yeah, buy a brand new console because the graphics are improved by 1%. Idiot. Assassins Creed 3 on the PC has better graphics than the Wii U. That’s a fail.

          1. Dude, first it’s not improved by 1%,and if it did, then it would be on equal terms and your helping me because 99%+1%=100%.And pc I don’t label with consoles because it is not dedicated and you can make your own to as much power as you want.

            1. I misread what you said about the 1%. You mean the game overall will be 1% better than the Wii U version. Still not a reason to purchase a Wii U at launch.

          1. Well, maybe in the first few weeks.Frankly,I am impressed with the progress nintendo is making. They are taking away the trolls three defences

1.bad graphics is off the list
            2.Lack of online is off.
3.Lack of third party is off too(you’d have to be blind to see all these good games, most off them aren’t shovelware which is impressive considering it’s launch)

            1. No one has any idea how online gameplay will be on Wii U. There are still core third party games that havent been announced for Wii U. Time will tell about these two points.

    1. Hypothetically speaking as if you don’t own any of these games, you say the games are dull yet you say that the only game worth playing is pretty much the same game released every year since 2007? Ignoring the all round high scores batman, mass effect, darksiders 2 and most likely AC3 and Mario, you think a game that has been pretty much copy paste almost every year this gen is worth picking up? Troll logic at its finest. And personally I don’t know how you can stand the games online community, I’m guessing they are pretty much your age, but the kids on there are the worst, I got sick of it after cod4.

  4. 007 Legends? So Australia gets that at launch? Disappointed they’re the only ones. Reviews have been awful but that is simply because it is unfaithful to the original movies. But was it expected to recreate some 50 year old movies in video game form to a tee? Of course not! It’s the Resi 6 conundrum all over again. Why can’t people just review THE GAME! Blimey…

    1. Come on now, RE6 was an awful, clumsily controlled game. Even if you don’t compare it to the better RE games, it’s still not a good game.

    1. Those games won’t come for a few years yet I think you’ll find. At the most you might get one of them released at the end of next year.
