      1. new super mario bros. series could take a lesson or two from this games 2.5D levels. wow i am so impressed.

    1. Just my two cents.

HD. The 3DS doesn’t need anymore games right now. As in, if another good 3DS game is released I could go bankrupt. Nintendo’s really gone overboard with the 3DS releases. Plus Sonic Generations 3D wasn’t as good as its HD brethren.

      1. No such as a system don’t need another great game. :) True Wii U needs more games now but its coming. Patience my apprentice. Walk towards the dark side (EA and all loser, Nintendo-hating fandorks) you mustn’t.

        1. True, true. I just was stating my opinion. Unless I can get both, I’d simply prefer to support my Wii U more. I’ll never stray away from the light that is Nintendo!

    2. Yeah, I’m going for the Wii U version.

Side note: Being that your avatar is a helghast soldier, have you seen the new character models for Shadow Fall? If so, what do you think?

        1. I wish I got them for free. lol

          I think only the big guns or buddy buddy industry members get those for free (IGN, GameSpot, etc.). Or if you’re a celeb. None of which I am. D;

Yeah, if I like what I hear and see at E3, I’ll most likely get a PS4. I just hope it’s not too expensive.

          1. I kinda want inFamous Second Son but I am not interested in other PS4 games at the moment. If they got something cool for PS4 then I hoping the PS4 going be cheap or affortable. ($300 for Vita is not affortable in my opinion)

            1. Vitas start at $250 for bundles with games and memory cards. It’s really the 3G version that’s $299 and 3G isn’t even worth it.

That said, it’s probably getting a price cut during E3 anyway.

There are a few games that I want for the PS4 some I can’t talk about yet, but other than that: inFAMOUS Second Son, Knack, Drive Club, and the F2P games coming from PC look like fun.

I’m sure I’ll have enough to play on it to make it worth a purchase at launch.

Chances are I’ll have more stuff to get on the PS4 at launch than I got for the Wii U at launch, and I’m happy with my Wii U purchase.

              1. Interesting so we probably going get a lot more games after all. I like my Vita but I only got like four games for it so far. But I pre-order Dragon Crowds and Demon Blade for Vita. Yes I do like Demon Blade for Wii if you are asking.

I was hoping they adding more Vita games during Wii U/PS4/Xbox One generation.

And don’t ask me how many 3DS games I have because it is a lot bigger than my Gamecube library and I thought my Gamecube library is bad. 0_0

      1. It’s going to be my new gravatar photo, thats what i think! With all those gigs those guys are using, they are really making some impressive character models and stunning environments.

        1. This is why I like you and Simply G. Sometime trolls as well since they are fun to play with. :P

    3. Sega still sucks ass

Pathetic. What an overrated and blatant copy of Mario galaxy. It started with sonic Colors the developers intentionally made it similar to “Mario” games in order to appeal to Nintendo fans. But this… This is shameless copying. And worst of all, this doesn’t even look half as good as Mario galaxy. What utter fuckers. Sonic is a facade faker than a rubber duck. (Oh and if any of you bastards are wondering, a developer behind sonic colors said himself that they designed Colors similar to Mario games.)

      1. Nintendo and SEGA are both developing this game so of course it’ll be like Super Mario Galaxy. Plus according to SEGA Sonic games sell better on Nintendo consoles than any other console so of course they made Sonic Colors like Super Mario Galaxy so maybe Sonic Colors can appeal to people who loved Super Mario Galaxy or just any Nintendo fan.

  1. The game is simply amazing on both platforms, not to mention that game looks and feels like a mario game with a unquie sonic twist i feel this game might give generations a run for its money maybe even colors

    1. Then I guess you never played sonic adventures on the Dreamcast.
A game as memorable as Mario 64 for me. :)

  2. It seems like I am finally going to buy a 3D Sonic game. Colors and Generations looked cool, but Somehow I didn’t seem to get around buying them. Good job team Sonic =)

  3. Yeah already saw it on Youtube. Looks awesome! It has alternate paths like Sonic 3 and Knucles but the gameplay is still 3D!(talking about the Wii U version) And the 3DS version also looks awesome! I like the 3D gameplay and how the game plays in 3D!(no I’m not talking about the the pop out 3D I’m talking about the 3D gameplay)

  4. Man that looks good. Normally I usually shy away from Sonic games because his speed I’d hard for me to control. I’m glad they added a way to adjust his speed so you can go as slow or as fast as you want. This seems like it’ll be a day one purchase for me!

        1. *Breaking News reporting that some gamer broke their controller while playing a video game. This gamer threw the controller across the room and smash the TV. The game is for Nintendo Wii with the Wii U add-on for a new Sonic the hedgehog game. I would not recommend this game for your children.*

Really Simply G? We all know it is you broke your controller. sheesh… :P

    1. Yeah I was actually really impressed with the second level that was candy themed. I thought it was very well done. This could turn out to be my favorite Sonic game.

  5. Woah, looks good, this seemed like a nice exclusive, but now it could turn into a heavy hitter.
If this is half as good as Super Mario Galaxy (Which was obviously the inspiration for it), it’ll be so worth the buying of a Wii U, plus the promise of two HD Zelda games, a new Super Mario and whatever Retro is working on.

    1. It wasn’t the only “inspiration”. They use ideas from earlier Sonic games, the Mario Galaxy feel and that Sega Saturn Sonic game that they never released.

      1. wow. look i was using imitation as a sincerist sort of flattery, i love this look for sonic, it beautiful, and it does play somewhat like mario galaxy by thr look, im not the only one making this comparision. i am definitly buying day one, and btw, u explitive off, thanks. have a nice day.

        1. doesnt everybody remember the original sonic being a platformer not to different than super mario bros. thats why mascot games were cool. they took the same concepts and amped them. sonic lost worlds look great… cant wait to play.

      2. Also, man, pipe down, nobody is saying this is bad, nobody is saying anything remotely negative or even critical, we’re just noticing the gameplay and aesthetic similarities this game shares with Super Mario Galaxy, it’s fine, Mario is the pillar of platforming, anything in the genre and sometimes even outside of it is bound to be compared to it.

  6. This looks pretty cool! I especially like that 3rd level. After I see 3D Mario I’ll decide which one to get out of the two.

    1. It looks like they took the control scheme they’ve used for the last four or so Sonic games and infused it with that of Adventure/2, then put it on level designs that could feel right at home in Super Mario Galaxy…

Even without the other characters I’ve missed so much for the last several years, I am way excited for this game. I never was crazy about the way the games have played since Unleashed, and it looks like they’ve at least changed the worst parts. As long as they don’t go too heavy on the side-scrolling sections, this could easily be my favorite Sonic since Adventure DX.

  7. Nintendo Commander

If this Sonic game proves to be very succesfull, it means that to a large part, our Empire was the one who made it that…

But we all know the music will be great as always…

  8. Looks good and fun, but the art style looks a little dated. It’s so much bright, saturated primary colors — it kind of looks like a kid’s toy or something.

        1. Yea same here. I spent so much time on those little creatures, It’s sad that Sega is not including them in any other Sonic games.

          1. yeah, kinda sad. i was hoping they’d make a return, but despite that, the game looks great and will be the first sonic game since rush. i’m not gonna count my less then pleasurable rental of sonic unleashed and regretable buy of secret rings. hopefully with this those dark days are behind us with lost worlds.

  9. this actually looks good!!!! really the first 2 minutes or so…. FAIL. then there was more and actually looks like more than just fucking running with crappy power ups. it actually looks like a fun 3d platformer. this might be the only really good 3d sonic game (adventure 2 is pretty good still)

  10. Unfortunately, I could NEVER be a fan of Sonic games. I get motion sick, dizzy and confused because of how freakin’ FAST he runs around (although I completed the original game). But I LOVE Sonic as a character. Just bought the Sonic Edition of Monopoly (board game).

    1. comadore plus 4 64k

you stick to being a cock suck fan then we ok that you big that but dont involve are selves

  12. Im excited for games that I can play with my 5 Year old. Easy to pick up difficult to master..I dont really care for sonic games but this has me intrigued. plus i never played galaxy so why not sonic , i already have mbwiiu

  13. That was amazing!!! Definitely getting this game day one. I will probably buy both versions. This will more than likely be my favorite Sonic game if everything turns out like it did in this video. The only thing I don’t like is no Eggman (perhaps a surprise cameo?).
