Check Out The Deus Ex FEMA Camp Gameplay On Wii U (Video)

Deus Ex Official has uploaded a rather neat gameplay walkthrough from the Wii U version of the upcoming action game Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut. The walkthrough video takes you through the FEMA Camp and all the way to the boss fight with Barrett. In fact, it gives an in-depth look at how the Wii U GamePad will be utilised throughout gameplay, bringing more hacking and stealth-like opportunities for those who prefer to avoid or play with as little combat as possible. The Director’s Cut also showcases the off-TV gameplay on the GamePad, offering the same experience and game immersion as it would be when playing on-screen. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will be released for the Wii U, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

              1. Oh really? So she ALWAYS monitor your fb not when you comment on here, like ALWAYS . I find that hard to believe given fb is like your personal space..

                1. You also have a completely different speech pattern too as well almost as if youre an entirely a different person, anyways goodluck in your life troll lets see if you get far with it..LOL ^_^

        1. They should not be punished. Who cares if the game is also on last gen consoles? As long as the Wii U version is the best version I don’t really care. We need to buy these games so they can continue supporting the Wii U

    1. Downloading 101, still debating rather to get Blacklist for wiiu or ps3, what do you guys think? Does gamepad features outweights of having no offline co-op split screen cus i would love to play with my brother.hmmmm

      1. This is a sincere reply. If you brother wants to play he should help you pay the ps3 version if not get it on wiiu :)

        1. Yeah ill getting the ps3 then, those gamepad features are so tempting, im a HUGE splinter cell fan and i would definitely enjoy the wiiu version cus it brought a unique way of playing, it really does suck that there isnt any offline co op cus i wouldve gotten the wiiu version in a heartbeat :(

          1. The possibility of them actually adding offline co-op for the Wii U version seems highly likely. The game is great on the Wii U and the gamepad adds some interesting advantages over the PS3 version, but the choice will ultimately be up to you.

PS I have the game and am basing my comment off of my time spent with the game on the Wii U so far. It’s great and being able to send challenges to your friends is pretty fun as well.

            1. Rather i watch it or not i dont really care if it had better graphics, i just didnt read it anywhere that say it does.

          1. In the early announcements of the game for the Wii U, they said they would be using “PC assets” for the Wii U version and have boosted the graphics for the director’s cut.

      2. You should buy Blacklist on Wii U because the way you play games on Wii U is different from how you have been playing PS3 games for years. Your brother will appreciate it if you buy the Wii U version as well.

      3. I got the wii u version instead of the 360 one. I love the wii u version. I downloaded the 360 version because it’s free. And I notice the game does look better and run better on the wii u. I am very happy i bought the wii u version even tho i could get the game absolutely free.

    2. Guys, sorry about this off-topic inquiry: has anyone here already played Splinter Cell Blacklist? I would like to have some impressions because I’m on the fence about it.

      Thanks!

      1. Tom Clancy’s series has been critically acclaimed, that’s why I was considering picking this up. But I have never played any of the earlier installments… Anyway, thank you guys, and probably I’m getting Splinter Cell Blacklist during this weekend.

      2. Aside from the long load times I am really enjoying the game. My experience with the online co-op was very smooth and fun. Spies vs. Mercs is a great experience and overall I give the game a 9/10. Definitely pick it up if you are into stealth games.

      3. it’s a great game!!! I love it. It feels like conviction (sneaking) I am very happy about that. The online community is flourishing too. I won 2 matches last night I was on the spies team. It was mega fun.

    3. I got this game for my pc , but it really seem to be a game that were made for the wii u with its gamepad after seeing this video, hacking, upgrading and all that stuff just seem natural in this game. I might just pick this up lol

      1. And it’s a mediocre FPS game at best…

I’ve had way more fun with Perfect Dark back in the days of the N64…

    4. It just seems strange now everyday we are talking about Wii U games and not doom and gloom. I gotta get used to this.

    5. Sold. That trailer not only reminded me how fantastic Deus Ex is, it demonstrated how they’ve made it even better. I may have been put off by some of the faults of the original, but there are no excuses this time around.

    6. Yet another 3rd party title which sabotaged their opportunity success with their delays and retraction of commitments. Yet another $60 I’ll be saving and using to buy another Nintendo game.

    7. This game has reminded me of one thing: Nintendo is definitely using the Wii U as a bridge to permanently fusing their consoles and handhelds into one device that can play not only on the TV, but also portably. Wii U is merely the first step, and with Nintendo actually fusing their handheld and console departments, their true vision will surely become a reality.

Now as for the game itself: Like what Phil said, this trailer reminds me of how much fun I had playing the original game, and, holy cow, the additions and expansions of the rooms are pretty awesome. My main concern is that with the addition of multiple ways of taking down the bosses now, the bosses may end up being very easy to beat. I mean, I guess it’s not a proper multichoice stealth game if there isn’t a way to very cheaply beat the enemy, but at the same time, I want to earn my victories through those alternate ways. As for graphics…I guess the fogginess is better? I haven’t seen much of the footage that shows the graphics being on the level as Missing Link, but I’ll probably watch it again. Oh, and I definitely love the addition of developer commentaries!

          1. Double standards much, dumb ass? Why the fuck are you comparing the Director’s Cut version to the original? What you’ve failed to realize the fact that the Director’s Cut version for both PS3 and Xbox 360 is gonna have the same price as the Director’s Cut version on Wii U.

            1. Im not comparing the directors with the old game u bastard.. Go to amazon search deus ex direrector and youll see ps360 $29.99 wiiu 49.99.
              U ugly c unt

              1. Relax, no name. I’ve already visited Best Buy and you were right. The PS3 version of Deus Ex: HR DC is $29.99 while the Xbox 360 version is $34.99… and they’re developed by Eidos Montreal. The Wii U version is $49.99, but it’s developed by STRAIGHT RIGHT.

Next time, be more civilized when commenting instead of being a fucking douche bag.

                  1. my sensore readings indicate that you have a critical case of soreness from and between your butt cheeks. a Nintendo hater is most a hater of video games overall. calm your sore arse down and go outside.

    8. I really wish they would lower the price on this version. If they do I will get it for sure. Right now I’m on the fence. This trailer did look good though.
