The Simpsons joins Fortnite’s IP Partner Program allowing developers to create “fully authentic” Simpsons games

One of the big announcements which graced Epic’s Unreal Fest Chicago 2026 developers conference is that Disney has handed Epic Games The Simpsons franchise from EA. This means that third party developers will soon have the tools to create or recreate “fully authentic” games based on the popular animated series in Fortnite. So we could see recreations of classic The Simpsons games such as Hit and Run etc. The Simpsons game-development tools for Fortnite will be available later this year.

    1. It was just a rumor that started a few weeks ago, but I wouldn’t doubt it. It’ll probably release along side the new Simpsons movie next year.

  2. Yes! Simpsons Hit and Run with proper cutscenes, not the characters standing on the game map flapping their mouths at each other.
