Here’s Nintendo Japan’s Wii Sports Club Introductory Video

Nintendo announced the enhanced version of Wii Sports would be coming to the Nintendo Wii U eShop last month, and now Nintendo of Japan has released a brand new introductory video showing off both Tennis and Bowling. The enhanced HD version comes with the new online multiplayer versus mode in Wii Sports Club, allowing players to connect to others across the world in state or regional clubs, going head-to-head in matches, as well as socialising with each other in Miiverse.

The sports available on November 7 are Tennis and Bowling, with Baseball, Boxing and Golf coming at a later date. All sports are able to be purchased individually at $9.99 each, or you can purchase a 24-hour pass for $1.99, giving you access to all sports within the time period. Let us know if you’ll be picking up your racket or bowling ball come November 7 in the comment section below.

    1. This brings back so many memories, I remember playing wii sports and hitting my older sister in her chest lol, and sneaking on constantly to play before i would go off to school.

          1. Well that Ben wasn’t an Ben. XD He was banned by Sickr for using someone else ID. I haven’t seen VoiceofFault lately as well. Nintendo Commander still here and just on and off for a while.

    1. the casual crowd is never coming back. they arnt playing there wii’s either. nintendo fucked up and iwata might kill himself.

      1. I was visiting my parents last weekend. They ARE still playing their Wii’s !! The Jepordy, Wheel of fortune, the mini games, – the Wii’s are still running. (but they have no interest in upgrading.)

                    1. SHUT UP! I LOVE MY WII U! I LOVE NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY ALL THE BEST THRID-PARTY GAMES! I LOVE HAVING SHITTY, OUTDATED HARDWARE! I LOVE HAVING ARCHAIC ONLINE! I OVE HAVING TO WAIT 4 MONTHS IN BETWEEN QUALITY FIRST PARTY TITLES! AND I ,OVE PAYING $50 FOR AN HD PORT OF A GAME I GOT FOR FREE 7 YEARS AGO!

      1. I only game on Nintendo Consoles. I will give Microsoft kudoes on their Windows 8 phone though, I love it. Fantastic for business use.

  1. NINTENDO NEEDS TO GET RID OF THOSE MII DESIGNS ASAP.

SOMETHING LIKE THE XBOX360 AVATARS WOULD BE COULD.

WII U MIIS LOOKS DATED AS HELL

  2. Wow I actually made a mistake. I will be the first to admit my mistake. I been saying that I loved how the Mii’s have arms now. I take that back. They still are missing their arms. This is pathetic. Those Mii’s are so primitive, is that the best Nintendo can do?
I guess Nintendo can’t bother to add arms to them because those extra polygons would bring the underpowered Wii U framerate to a crawl.
So they should just add the letters “HD” at the end of the title and sell the old Wii Sports game as a brand new one lolol. Oh wait, don’t know about the title of this game, but that is exactly what they doing lolol.
OMG and this “enhanced” version has online!!! Finally Nintendo is figuring out what that is, 7 years later lolol.

  3. Nostalgia heart attacks for ever’buddy… especially those old folks who’ll be dead or suffering from dementia now.

  4. Id buy them. I liked the games when they came out. Never had problems with them. And they were the reason I wanted my wii in the first place.

Cant say the same for kinect sports where the glitches made me cry.

  5. ripoff sports club. you can buy the whole wii sports for the price of one sport game in that sports club. I hope this shit doesn’t sell so that they can learn their lesson.

  6. The sad thing is, there are gimps out there who will actually think paying $50 for an HD port of a bare bones game that came free with the Wii since 06 is a good deal and buy this shit.

  7. So do you people go out and buy madden every year? do you buy the latest version of cod? Do you buy the latest halo? What is the difference? It is a new version with updated graphics and online and will also have some new gameplay aspects to it. If you do not like it do not buy it,but stop with the irony since you all probably get the latest versions of rehashed games.

  8. It’s about damn time Nintendo integrated some form of true online multiplayer gaming experience on the Wii U. Too bad it’s nothing more than an upgraded version of a game we still own.
