In his interview with Spike, producer of Zelda games since the original Wind Waker, Eiji Aonuma, discussed his interactions with Shigeru Miyamoto regarding A Link To The Past. He admitted that Miyamoto has been trying to get him to make A Link To The Past for 3DS ever since the handheld console’s release. Miyamoto, who famously originated the Zelda series and is responsible for producing the much-loved A Link To The Past so many years ago, has been “constantly in [Aonuma’s] ear” about recreating the SNES classic. Aonuma implied that these discussions were the impetus for him to take on A Link Between Worlds, which uses the same over-world map as A Link To The Past. Here are Aonuma’s comments on the matter:
“Since the 3DS came out, Mr. Miyamoto has always been on me about making A Link To The Past for the 3DS. He’s always saying, “Why haven’t you made it yet? Why haven’t you made it yet? Just kind of constantly in my ear about that. When I would do it was up to me, but it’s kind of been something that has been on my plate.”
I’m glad he did! Spirit Tracks needs to be washed out of my mouth. I can’t wait to revisit that Hyrule.
Between the new game art and this old stuff, I am dying for some sweet Zelda posters as well. So disappointed that Gamestop’s preorder is a code for a game I already own.

The parts where you used Zelda, although innovative and worthy of a revamp, were quite grueling. It almost felt as if they were adding time to the game by just slowing her down.

Anyone else feel like every time Aonuma talks about Zelda, the less and less you want Miyamoto to be involved in it?
I get the feeling Aonuma is basically in the same boat as us, where he has ideas for Zelda that we all want to see, and ways to progress the series but Miyamoto is just like “no, do this”.
Well, at least even Miyamoto has now agreed that “Aonuma doesn’t need me anymore”

I’m totally glad to have LBW but I would love a remake of ALTTP, that’s the only game I will give allowance to, being that it is, in many peoples eyes, the best game ever made. I’m at least waiting for a VC release for the Wii U so I can play on my gamepad. I would much prefer it on my gamepad than my 3DS XL.

What I want to know is why the name “troll” was given to them. And that is a serious question. I used to think that too. Like, trolls? O…..k. Then I just got used to that term. The only other word for them is bully. But even that sounds childish. So, I guess the only REAL word to call them that describes them perfectly is “assholes”. LOL!
