The Overwatch release yesterday for the Nintendo Switch 2 has seemingly not gone to plan for Activision-Blizzard. Players who downloaded the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Overwatch have primarily been reporting framerate issues and some other issues. Thankfully, Activision-Blizzard has said that it is aware of the issue and are working on a patch, though it’s a shame these issues weren’t picked up on before its release, rather than launching an edition that isn’t working as intended.
We are aware of an issue with the FPS limit on the Nintendo Switch 2 being lower than intended. We are working on a patch to resolve this issue.

It is, alas, common practice nowadays, we release a game hastily (who said Cyberpunk 2077?) and if there are issues, too bad, we fix them afterwards because everyone has an internet connection.
You definitely have a point, there. If I were to give this release any credit, is that it is an online-only multiplayer game (for now), and that it is a free-to-play model. But yeah, it does seem the AAA release now, patch it working later, is still in full effect.
