Nintendo shared new information regarding the next Zelda title for Wii U. As we’ve already reported the game is open world and has been a dream of Aonuma’s for quite some time. The new Zelda game world is open and connected, which means your game now begins when you decide where to go. Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata says that the highly anticipated game launches 2015.

Unless it takes place after Adventure of Link, Four Swords Adventures, or Spirit Tracks, it’s going to be a prequel in some capacity. So don’t get your hopes up for a pure sequel.

umm, I am so tired of amazing Zelda tech demos and a game that looks nothing like it…I love Nintendo but this is the 3rd time they gave us something completely different from what they showed us was possible. I think I might be looking forward to Hyrule Warriors more now….
So you’re mad it’s not using the graphics from that Wii U tech demo featuring Link fighting Gohma in the Temple of Time? I’m glad. Twilight Princess was great but the graphics were bland colored. Colorful fantasy artstyle all the way!
