Nintendo of America has uploaded a new trailer giving us a fresh look at the first batch of Amiibo figures that will launch alongside Super Smash Bros Wii U on November 21st in the United States. The Amiibo figures will also be coming to Europe, but not until November 28th. Smash Bros Wii U launches in Europe on December 5th.

Not really, it’s more of an optional thing that doesn’t take away much from the experience without it, unlike DLC, which adds a good amount of content to the actual game to make it longer.
Oh I’m sorry, I’m too stupid to realize the difference between DLC and objects that you can optionally buy to use for multiple games instead of being a one-trick pony device.

The Wii U version. I already have the 3DS version and it’s making me not want to buy it again on the Wii U. I wish I could just get it for free or something…

I feel you though, what disappoints me, is the fact there hasn’t been any special modes or anything like that announced for the Wii U version. I swore Sakurai said there was something special for the Wii U version too, but so far the only difference is HD, maps, items and trophies. Nothing special yet, unless they drop something next month right before it releases.
I know for many that doesn’t warrant buying the game again, and with how good the 3DS version did turn out, I’ve seen more and more people say the same you are. I still plan to get both but if tight on money, it might not seem like the most logical thing to do when you just bought a similar version only a month ago.
I still feel they really could have moved a lot of Wii U’s by releasing it first there instead on the 3DS, I just don’t get the need to push the 3DS so much anymore. It practically sells itself now.
I guess I can understand them not wanting to take the risk but I think it would have paid off.
I mean I still plan to get the Wii U version… I keep referring to them as both even though I already have one.
I am still going to get it. It’s just that I went from “day one purchase!” To “hmm maybe I’ll get the 3DS version first” then to “maybe I should wait while to get it” to “I’m not even going to bother with it until next year”. :/

Well, while doing some research to see if I had missed anything, I stumbled upon a rumor. It says the Wii U version will have a mode called Tower of Smash and you’ll be able to unlock more characters by having both versions.

The rumor does sound a bit iffy to me, mainly because all the characters are the ones most fans have been begging for which seems a little odd it would be those exact characters. It also says there will be 40 new stages which seems pretty massive even for the Wii U. Another red flag, is I read a long time ago from people who wanted Ridley were making move sets for him and the move sets mentioned in the rumor seem to be the same I read before from fans.
Its only source was 4chan and it was taken down, so I don’t know, but something to hope for I suppose.

It’s not going to work that way. Amiibos work across multiple different games. If that was the case, Amiibos would be considered a free pass. Of course Nintendo isn’t going to let that happen. Lmao.
Well,I think there’s a connection here. Because,amiibos are released the same month the first DLC pack does. I’m just being curious. Although,I need to wait to see what they do for that game. I know it won’t do the same as Smash Bros,because all of them aren’t in the game,yet!
Nintendo won’t combine the two, they are going to want to make money from DLC and Amiibo’s separately.
These figures don’t really do much either, just watch the Nintendo Direct about them. They can’t be used as some pay to win device if that’s what you’re wondering, they’re main purpose is to be used locally with friends.
Again, I doubt many will actually use these other than for display.
I could easily emulate these with my phone.

LOL! I laughed, but yeah, I want to see Tharja as a playable character. So what if you can see her ass? Isn’t Samus in shorts and even Shulk too? I don’t understand Nintendo trying to make Smash a kiddie game, Brawl had guns, and now they changed all the guns to not look like guns and don’t put Tharja to not make the game T or something, no kids play this game, mostly adults do, seriously, Nintendo needs to mature their franchises, kids don’t buy consoles anymore, it’s adults and teenagers and they like mature content, look at the PS4, Nintendo needs to understand that. Also, I think the Wii U versions will have its exclusive modes.
