Nintendo UK Store Apologises For The Shulk Amiibo Stock Shortage

The official Nintendo UK store has apologised to fans following the Shulk amiibo stock shortage. Yesterday, reports surfaced that the popular Xenoblade character had been delayed from Amazon UK due to stock constraints, among other retailers, frustrating many fans with pre-orders in the process. But it seems that it’s not just retailers suffering from stock woes, but Nintendo’s official UK store, too. The store has had to cancel some consumers’ Shulk amiibo pre-orders, and has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Nintendo UK can confirm that the Nintendo Official UK Store has had to cancel a very limited number of pre-orders for the Shulk amiibo. Nintendo is in the process of contacting those customers affected and apologises for any inconvenience caused as a result of this.

Amiibo pre-orders and purchases appear to be the cause of a constant headache across North America and Europe, with many of the NFC figures – including the elusive Rosalina – hard to find. Fortunately, the Nintendo UK store does have new stock in for both Mega Man and Sonic, here, but be quick as you could very well blink and miss them.

    1. The moment Shulk and Ness (my two favourite Nintendo characters) get in my mail I’m officially done with amiibo. It’s just way too stressful for my wallet and I. Maybe I’ll get the Gold Mario amiibo because it looks pretty sweet but that about it.

  1. haha, my classmate preordered it at GAME and got it canceled while I picked it up at mediamarkt with ease. I later found 2 avaliable at kids store.

    1. I live in Canada so it’s impossible to get Rosalina. But where I live there is 6 sonics in Walmart EBgames and Future Shop lol

  2. Really…… well they should also apologies for the shit going on with the Ike’s and the king dededes in the US or meta knight goodluck if u didn’t pre order them or rosalina how else is someone going to get them

  3. I am still amaze at Nintendo’s stupidity. yes you hear it. Amiibo are indeed a success and it’s also another way to get money in the bank. I don’t understand why Nintendo producing such a low number. There is a market for those figures and again Nintendo does not produce a larger quantity and prefer playing the hard to get amiibo game…. Sorry to write that but that a very f***ed plan and nintendo screw it up as I thought they will do.
