GungHo Online Entertainment has uploaded a new trailer for its upcoming 3DS game Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition. The five-minute Japanese trailer – embedded above – discusses a number of new details including an array of playable characters such as Fire Mario, Boo Mario, Tanooki Luigi and several coloured Yoshi. As per usual, Bowser kidnaps Peach while Mario and co. keep up the pace in an effort to save her from his tyranny, battling Mushroom Kingdom enemies in classic Puzzle & Dragons gameplay along the way.
Players will have to choose their teams, sub-teams and leaders wisely to outsmart the enemy, heading over to the Toad houses dotted across the map to level-up and pick up special abilities. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition will arrive in Japan for April 29, while fans in North America and Europe can pick up the game in May for the Nintendo 3DS.

I’m getting this because it’s to games in one I love puzzle games to so it’s a day one for me.
And it’s not the “free to play” crap they’re doing with Pokemon shuffle
Off topic: had a blast today at ireland’s first ever YouTube creators event at Google in Dublin And boy have I got surprises for you all on my channel! ;-)
I like that you get this and the original game in the retail version. I’m more interested in the original but the Mario version looks OK as well.
I can’t wait for this. I stopped playing the mobile version after I lost my data, so it’ll be great to play some good old puzzle action again.

This game actually looks pretty good, the premise is solid and the RPG element adds depth to what would otherwise be a weak puzzle concept; to be honest I’m more interested in the actual dragons version, but since we’re getting both games in one package I’ll play the Mario one too.
