Check Out These Pictures From Yesterday’s Splatoon Mess Fest

To celebrate the launch of Splatoon on May 29th, yesterday Nintendo of America hosted the Splatoon Mess Fest in California, inviting some celebrities to get inked in a real life Splatoon-inspired obstacle course. You can check out some pictures of the event in the gallery below, and some additional images here and here. The event looked like a success and as messy as promised. What do you think of the photos?

  1. Man I wish I could have been there. That seemed like a lot of fun. Glad to see Nintendo promoting Splatoon.

    1. Lol. Because the event was for you to get off your ass, get outside and partake in the event. Not watch it on the Internet while lying in bed…haha

  2. Why is Nintendo making such a big deal about this game? It doesn’t even look appealing. Even my niece don’t care anything about it. She didn’t even care about playing a demo. To each their own I guess.

    1. She doesn’t care anything about it probably because she doesnt know anything about it. All kids like bright colors and character animations. It’s one thing you can rely on.

    2. Okay so I guess we should all just listen to your niece now huh? I played the demo, it was kickass man. And like you said, to each their own, and there’s a lot of people who can’t wait for this game, you just gotta live with it.

      1. I’ve been having to just “live with it” for decades. Always seeing people loving horrible (or just plain stupid) games. I’ll give this game the benefit of the doubt for now. But I still have no hope of liking it. I have dozens upon dozens of actual GREAT games in my collection that I never play. For one reason or the other.

        1. He was in Superman but I think he played Louis’s bf/husband or whatever (not superman). He did play as cyclops in the older Xmen movies which is prolly where everyone remembers him from.

          1. Well in that case that’s why I don’t remember him then. I remember Cyclops, but because he always had his glasses I never cared for the actor behind the character. Good to know though.

  3. Ya mother fuckers on California so damn luck compared to the east coast ya got better comic cons and e3 and ya mother phucker got splatoon and tupac represented ya im done ranting

        1. Lol man what I would give to have a Nintendo Store here in Chicago.

(I probably wouldn’t give up anything, but I would go constantly to the store)
