The latest edition of Japanese gaming publication CoroCoro has revealed what appears to be a mysterious new Pokemon. Speculation is rife regarding who or what it could be. The general consensus points towards it being a new Zygarde form. The teaser image is part of the Pokémon the Movie XY 2016 trailer which will be released soon.
I don’t even know what a Zygarde is… I have really fallen off the Pokemon train since Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. :/
Think of it as the rayquazza of Pokémon x and y

How do you not know what that is? I thought you played Pokemon Omega Ruby? Anyways, it’s a flying type move that only he can learn. I say he’s OP because he has a massive attack stat and he outspeeds almost every single Pokemon. Even if it isn’t very effective, it still kills most Pokemon due to his large attack stat.
I haven’t finished the game yet, not even halfway. XP I’ve been busy with other things.
Oh & Hollow forgot to mention Dragon Ascent is the move Rayquaza needs to know in order to mega evolve. If I’m not mistaken, even Rayquaza from the games that came out before OR/AS can mega evolve if it is taught that move.
Oh & it will only work in OR/AS AFTER you complete the Delta Episode.
Jesus Christ, I forgot he had a Mega Evolution. Makes him even more OP.
That’s probably why you think he’s OP because you’ve only ever used that move when it’s mega evolved. If I’m fighting something close to Rayquaza’s level that isn’t weak to flying attacks, Dragon Ascent does not take them down with one hit.

I’m thinking this is Primal Zygarde. The Kalos war was 3000 years before the game’s storyline, so that’s a long time for Zygarde to have lost power and become the snake thing it is now. Either way, this is fueling the Pokemon hype train for its next trip.
I just hope this version does it justice because THE MAIN Zygarde is so pathetic that any mid-range common PKMN can kick its ass and I’m not just talking about.. (Me. Crocker impression) FAIRIES!
Considering how good Kyurem-W is I’m very hopeful it’ll be good.
Pokemon Fusion should be the next big mechanic to go for. :3 Mega Evolutions is already insane even for legendaries like Rayquaza who has one but fusions is gonna be sick..in an epic way. :3

And tell me, who ripped off who first? And no, technically Digimon wasn’t the first to do fusions. Remember that episode of Madien’s Peak when Gastly casted illusions of Blastoise and Venasaur during a battle and then fused them? Yup, that’s where the concept came from and yes, that episode happened before Digimon came to be and even the first Digimon series didn’t do fusions as far as I know.
XP Sorry but Digimon ripped off Pokemon in almost every way. Their story is a bit better but that’s it. XD
Digimon Fusion existed in the digital pets about two years before the anime was made. Specifically, it was the Japanese Omegamon (Omnimon in English) that could only be made by battling Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon together with the right stats on both. Digimon predates Pokemon, but the two largely share little in common beyond both centering around evolving monsters. Neither “ripped off” the other.

The amount of Pokémon (and Pokémon types) is one of the reasons I got burned out with the entire series. It was much more interesting in the beginning, when there was only 150 known Pokémon. Now, it’s just freakin’ ridiculous! And there’s so many so-called “legendary” Pokémon that none of them are even relevant anymore. MewTwo will always be the best.
I like Mewtwo but he’s got nothing on Arceus, the God Pokemon.

I guess this confirms something like X2 or Y2 for 2016. I doubt they would resort to remaking Kalos in a Z because it would be much more profitable to release it in two seperate versions.

Man, Pokémon designs have only been getting better and better with each new generation.
New movie means specific Pokémon to highlight. That new form is either Volcanion (the last of the three Kalos Event Pokémon) or a new Zygarde form (because its Pokedex entry hints that).
Seems like it could use Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves.
If this is a Primal Zygarde, I hope he’s going to be in a new Pokemon game that is a sequel to X/Y without going with the “White 2/Black 2” bullshit. Just one game is fine, GameFreak. No need to repeat the last generation’s sequel. No need to make the third game be just a different version of events like games before White 2/Black 2.

I didn’t even complete ORAS, I guess Pokemon is going stale for me. I do love the series, but its getting repetitive, especially since I use the same teams, and the stories are no longer good. I’m sure Nintendo will revitalize it , but hopefully X and Y will get Z and not X2 and Y2. Platinum will always be my favorite hands down.

It would be cool if it was Zygarde which would lead to Pokemon Z, as I was so confident for Pokemon Z I even started planning my team and was pretty disappointed when it wasn’t announced (So far at least).
