Nintendo of America has announced that a new Kirby title is coming to the Nintendo 3DS and is titled Kirby: Planet Robobot. Kirby is headed back to Nintendo 3DS, and this time the pink puffball must save Dream Land from robotic invaders! In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Kirby will use the enemies’ tech against them! The Robobot Armor uses more than 10 modes, upgraded versions of Kirby’s classic copy abilities. Kirby: Planet Robobot includes a four-player co-op mode called Team Kirby Clash, which find players battling tough bosses! For the first time in a Kirby game, you can earn experience points and level up in Kirby Clash mode. This fun multiplayer mode also uses Download Play, so only one of your friends needs to have the game! Kirby: Planet Robobot uses all the amiibo figures. Some grant Kirby a special copy ability! Using the Mario amiibo, for instance, will give Kirby a Fire ability. The Link amiibo gives him a Sword & so on… Kirby: Planet Robobot for Nintendo 3DS and the new Kirby series amiibo launch on 6/10

This could have been a new earth bound game. But still nintendo doesn’t fucking know how to use their Ip’s correctly.
They’re respecting the creator by not making any more Earthbound games. I believe he wanted the series to stay finished after Mother 3. That’s what everyone always tells me, at least. I’m not big into Earthbound/Mother.
They unfortunately just made a complete rehash of Triple Deluxe instead. The mech segments look absolutely fantastic, though.
Well, for one thing, the creator of EarthBound/Mother wanted the series to end after he left… On the other hand, Sakurai encouraged Nintendo and HAL to continue making Kirby games after he left, and the fact that material he didn’t create is part of Kirby’s moveset (particularly, his Final Smash) in Smash is proof that he’s still following Kirby and approves of what HAL is doing with his creation.
Nice surprise.
This is nice and all, but I desperately want Kirby to be brought into HD. Triple deluxe was great though, so I’ll be picking this up. I certainly wasn’t expecting another Kirby game on 3DS.

I LOVED TRIPLE DELUXE. Game brought back multimoves again which add great depth to this entry level franchise, the true arena was the best one and very challenging, the sub games were awesome, the two planes were well implemented. GREAT KIRBY ENTRY.
My favorite Kirby game will always been Kirby Super Star (grand daddy of the smash series) and omg… RtDL and TD really borrow great aspects from that title.
