Yoshinori Ono, the famed developer behind the Street Fighter franchise, has said in an interview that he would like to see Nintendo Vs Capcom come into fruition one day. Ono was asked which Super Smash Bros character would be the best fit for a Street Fighter game and Ono replied that he thinks a game such as the fictitious Nintendo Vs Capcom would be a better fit and could work rather well.

Well I’ll be damn lol, I had no idea. Oh yeah -_- I can’t believe no one calls them out for that, but EA, WB, and Activision are some sort of plague for it. I’m guessing it’s because it’s cosmetic but still, $100 for damn costumes.
No costume pack $100. The highest is $75. Most of them are about $35. That’s still pretty crazy for some costumes, but yeah. They’re all just cosmetics anyways.
Isn’t that bundle with all the DLC packs $100? I thought I saw that a while back. Which I thought was outrageous.
I’m guessing you must have seen the season pass which indeed costs $100. ($93) It doesn’t give you all the DLC packs. Everything is about $600.
If you had bought this game when it first released & bought the DLC as it released, the pricing wouldn’t be so bad in my opinion. Keoi Tecmo seems to be trying to do DoA like Nintendo does Smash. But unlike Nintendo with Smash, Koei Tecmo wants to support the game the entire gen so they release new DLC every couple of months.

Well, it’s bound to happen since the greedy bastards at Disney would never let them use the Marvel license again. Just as long as Cashcom actually intends to support the NX.

Yes. Disney forcefully removed the MvC3 DLC after they bought Marvel and Capcom would have to pay a shit ton to get the Marvel license for another game. That’s exactly why we won’t be seeing more of MvC in the future.
Well that sucks, at least there’s still hope for a Capcom vs Xmen, right? I know it’s Marvel but the fight are owned by Fox.

Actually, only the movie rights are owned by Fox. The only time they would have video game rights is if it’s based off of an upcoming X-Men movie (this is speculation, though). Otherwise, it’s owned by Marvel, but since they’ve killed them off in the comics and are purposely hurting Fox’s chances of making them successful (there’s a reason why they no longer say “mutants” in their comics), I don’t think Marvel would EVER want to do a video game that exposes them and gives them a chance of being popular (at least, unless Fox loses their rights and they’re given right back to Marvel).

Sorry, slipped my mind. But I have “etc.” for a reason.
I also want each company to have an equal amount of reps, and I was starting to hit the bottom of the barrel with Namco (the company that has Pac-Man as their main mascot). Meanwhile, Nintendo has plenty of franchise, and a rep for each one.

Nintendo VS anything is highly wanted, actually. I’d go for anything from Nintendo VS Capcom, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Konami if that company wasn’t going to shit, Square Enix, Marvel, DC, etc etc.
I think I would want it in the SF style. But I guess it all depends on what gets you excited…Nintendo characters in Street Fighter, or Capcom characters in Smash. For me it’s the former. I just think it would look really cool.

If it was Nintendo vs. Ubisoft, all you’d have to do is push them through the floors.
Captain Falcon would make a great guest character in a NX version of Street Fighter.
If Nintendo can still put an F-Zero game on the New 3ds then yeah we would probably get Falcon.
As long as it’s not like smash or SF and more(like every on here seems to think when the vs series have always had it’s own style) and more akin to the vs series (Tatsunoko, Marvel, SNK vs capcom etc) then bring it.
