Nintendo treated fans to another look at Super Mario Odyssey via their Gamescom stream today and we finally get to see some gameplay footage of the Luncheon Kingdom. We found out about this food-themed level back in early July this year so it’s great to see it in action. Yoshiaki Koizumi is in attendance and kindly does the honours of introducing this new kingdom. Take a look at the recordings below:

According to the title, this is the first look at the luncheon kingdom, but technically we’ve seen it a few times already in trailers. Even some gameplay in the trailers.
Maybe a better title would be “Nintendo Shows First Detailed Footage Of The Luncheon Kingdom From Mario Odyssey”

There’s new icons added to the HUD. Including a compass. Neat!
Also, it’s nice to have a longer gameplay segment of this kingdom. It looks awesome!
