Nintendo is determined to thrust its forthcoming Wii console into the public spotlight over the coming months as it hosts its “Nintendo World 2006” tour.
The event has been staged to allow potential buyers the chance to get hands on with the console in advance of the machine being released to the general public; December 2nd.
It’s not just the Wii that will be dazzling in the spotlight, new and upcoming Nintendo Ds titles will also be set to make a welcomed appearance at the event.
This will be the first time that the Japanese public has been able to get hands on with the Wii, as the company decided to forfeit this years Tokyo Game Show in favor of holding its own worldwide press conferences.
The Nintendo World 2006 tour is set to be a free event which is scheduled to take place in Nagoya on 3rd November, Osaka on 12th November, and finally Makuhari Messe on the 25th and 26th November.
