2007 is undoubtedly looking to become an advantageous year for Nintendo, as it’s currently set to launch three eagerly awaited Wii titles upon its extensive and varied fan base.

Reggie Fils-Aime the President of Nintendo of America recently had the opportunity to speak with SpikeTV and rigorously confirmed that Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Brothers Brawl are all set to be released ‘this calender year’.

Fil-Aime was then asked the inevitable question; When will we see Metroid’s heroine Samus Aran on the Wii? “You know, I don’t want to commit, because in the end, as you know, Mr Iwata [and] Mr Miyamoto make the final quality decision and so that’s out of my hand. When the game is ready.”

  1. I seriously cannot wait until these three games come out. However, all I can say is that they better come out this year. :)

One thing I absolutely need from Nintendo is some online play. I hope so much that they eventually roll-out a somewhat decent system.

Oh, and Sickr, I moved my blog, GameNation, to a host now, so the new location is at http://gamenation.neareverything.com . Would you mind updating your Blogroll with it. Thank you so much! :)

  2. Indeed. The one thing the Wii is sorely lacking is of course online play. Hopefully Metroid or Smash Brothers will kick things off it style :) I’ll be sure to update your site, keep up the good work :D
