Lara Crofts first tomb raiding adventure back in 1997 has been renowned by many adorning fans as her finest hour. Therefore it should come as no surprise to see the exemplary action/platformer being remade for 2007 as Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and gracing a whole host of gaming consoles later this year.

I’ve got to admit I’m partial to a bit of Lara action. The first Tomb Raider title which this game is based around was a genre defining experience back in 1997, whether or not it can captivate audiences in 2007 is a different question.
fair enough… it might be good though and if they use the wiimote properly… its gonna be like LoZ:TP, the gc version was the same as the Wii version except for PS and WS, but the controls added so much to the experience! if they could do the same…
This is great news. The first Tomb Raider was the best of the bunch. Then Eidos went and butchered the series from 2 onwards. I doubt the game will feel as fresh as it did back in the day, but it’ll introduce Nintendo fans to a game they missed out first time ’round.
