Asahi Shinbun the most respected daily newspaper in Japan has inadvertently stated that Paper Mario 3DS will be making its debut in Japan this year.
This interesting snippet of information was found located in a feature the Japanese newspaper was running which detailed numerous facts about Mario’s 25th anniversary.
will this be like the N64 game or a new adventure?
Apparently, it’s a new adventure… since Mario will get help from a Chain Chomp.
So it’s gonna be released in europe in november too, right? Because Reggie, I think, said that the 3DS is gonna be released worldwide at the same time.
@POPCORNcory No it is believed to be a new adventure according to the screens, in which some normal enemies (like chomps) were on Mario’s side. So unless they add enemy-hypnosis to the original game, itsprobably a new one.

There’s been no official announcement regarding territorial release dates or simultaneous release dates. We will find out exactly when and where the 3DS is launching on Wednesday September 29th : )
