Online gaming publication MCV is reporting that Nintendo plan to ship around 900,000 3DS consoles during the first three weeks of the 3DS going on sale.
Nintendo are also apparently hoping to shift around 4.5 – 5 million consoles during the first year of the system going on sale. The numbers appear to be similar to those of the original DS when it launched back in 2005.
