Looks as though the leaked Gamestop list that I posted was correct and Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins is coming to the Nintendo Wii.
The box art for Ubisoft’s beautiful 2D platformer Rayman Origins has just been posted online by Amazon. The game is scheduled to be released November 15, 2011, though of course this is just a tentative date. Anyone excited about seeing Rayman return?

YES OF COURSE I’m looking foreward to another Rayman game that actually stars the character in the game’s title! I thought this was intended as an episodic release though, not that I’m complaining about a whole game.

I’m not a big fan of the raggedy ears (hair?!) Rayman. I like the ears they gave him in Rayman 2. But Rayman’s nose is still the best. :D
So…an origin story? Does that mean we’ll find out where Rayman’s limbs went?!? XD
I’d better finish the first game on the PS1…. if it still works. @-@
I sincerely think that this is one of the sweetest looking games ever made and I am thrilled Rayman is making a comeback.
