Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo America Confirm Flame Red Nintendo 3DS Console For September

Nintendo of America has announced today that it’s launching the ultra-cool Flame Red Nintendo 3DS in the United States on September 9th. The console will retail for $169.99 and comes out on exactly the same day as Star Fox 64 3D. Anyone holding out for the Flame Red Nintendo 3DS?

  1. I was planning on buying one when I graduate (only three months left!) and this red one looks like a cool option. But that’s only if they release it here in Australia!

BTW. With all these games coming out for it, and the Vita and Wii U as well, looks like my pockets will be drained for quite a while. :) :(

Oh well, cant wait to play Uncharted, LBP, Mario, Zelda and Kid icarus on the train.

  2. OMFG FINALLY. YES. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. AND STAR FOX COMES OUT ON THE SAME DAY. OMG. LAKJSDFLKJASLDKFJOSADLKDHFAS

  3. YESSS!!!! I’ve been waiting for this ever since they showed it at E3 2010! It’s SO worth it! And with the recent price cut, it’s even better! I just have to wait a little longer and get it for christmas along with Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land :)

  4. This past Saturday I was asking my friend if he thought the Flame Red 3DS would come out in September around the release of Star Fox 64. Looks like I was right.

Personally this is the 3DS that I wanted ever since I first saw it in July. Plus its $170. So that means that now I can get that, Star Fox and Zelda

  5. WHAT did I say? The red 3DS came out right alongside Star Fox in Japan, and SF is coming to the US in September. It was going to happen this way.

  6. I already have blue. The only color that would make me want to trade in would be green, but I doubt it will happen. Plus I’ve already got my StreetPass Plaza stuff.

  7. Omfg this was the reason I was holding out so long for a 3DS. But forget buying it now, I’m waiting for black friday that way the price might be lower/ maybe a Mario Kart bundle.
