Nintendo Wii: Hot New Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword Fire Temple Footage

US gaming publication Game Informer has published some footage of the Fire Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii. The first trailer shows Link entering the temple for the first time and running on a spherical rock to avoid the scorching hot lava. The second video shows Link facing the menacing boss of the temple.

  1. This game looks absolutely stunning! I really love the art style! Suites the Wii very well!

Hope they make the WiiU Zelda game more in a realistic style, so like TP

      1. Like would you be surprised if there is a water temple? That’s the one thing about Zelda, there’s always a theme to each dungeon, and each Zelda game rehashes those themes.

Don’t take this as bashing, I love how they recreate them very creatively. The only bad part is the predictable themes (like which ones to expect).

        1. OMG! Thanks for spoiling that there will be DUGEONS in the next Zelda game! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

        2. I found wind waker to kinda violate that rule though. I mean, it felt like “WTF, Fire first, Forest second?” It also felt weird b/c it felt as if they were going to put the water temple on that island, then they were going to put it on your home island, then he just GIVES you the friggen orb, and you get the bow and arrow from the greek themed temple(it felt like temple of time all over again. Yes, I played TP before WW”

    1. Disappointed how? The footage shown is bad recording… That being said, the graphics aught to be spectacular and beautiful according to every (good) game website.

Do not make any opinions about gfx when seeing a video on the internet, this will always be in your disadvantage!

      1. One of the best moments watching footage was seeing one of the sky islands in the distance while Link was in the air. It really does have the impressionist look down pat. The way the light hits the clouds around you, the blended look in the island ahead with a few spots. It’s all there.

I love whenever Nintendo takes such a fascinating approach to visuals. I want the Wii U game to be equal to or better than the look we saw at E3 2011 as much as the next fan, don’t get me wrong, but other games in the series should be just as adventurous in their artstyle.

We are talking solely about the visual appearance, btw. Gameplay is the most important element, and the absence of good gameplay would cause a pretty game to be only that. I just don’t want future Zelda games to only look like E3 2011 and call it a day.

  2. I feel pretty great about this game, especially since I get every Nintendo game free for my website! Looking forward to the bundled golden Wii Remote Plus & Soundtrack!

  3. I love the cinematic as Link enters the fire temple. :D His realistic reaction (it’s hot, of course he should react to that!) is one of those little touches that I’ve been seeing in the gameplay footage which is just really, really awesome. :’D

Also, does anyone else think the fire temple music is a bit like the desert music from Twilight Princess? I like it. :D
