Nintendo has revealed the Japanese box art for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Japanese gamers will be able to purchase the standard edition of the game shown or alternatively they can purchase The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword 25th Anniversary Pack.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword 25th Anniversary Pack still looks better.
I prefer this one though. I also preferred the Japanese/European box art for Ocarina of Time 3D.
True. The Japanese one is more stylish and eye catching. US and europe always use Gold to catch peoples attention because Gold seems expensive and valuable.
Agreed. I was kind of hoping that Nintendo would continue the tradition by giving us a Skyward Sword art with Link riding his bird in the sky.
I think this Japanese non-gold cover looks better. The blues and greens are so pretty.
I agree, at first glance the Gold one looks better, but I think this one is easier to the eyes, and blends better
Don’t like it as much as the current preorder box art in the UK.
I actually like them both. 3: I wish I could buy them both just to have them.
GIMME POSTER VERSION.
A wonderful cover, but I think I like the golden box better. :)
I would prfer the gold but I actually like this one. Maybe if they had reversible covers or even a slipcase with a different cover. Either way it’s what inside that counts. :)
On another note, anyone want to hear a wee bit about Aliens:Colonial Marines on the Wii U? Or at least what ideas they have? Only lasts about 30 secs from the 3:00 mark

let me bet.I bet 1000$ that this no get to America TROLLDANCE xD
your on dickface (00)
Well, considering that Japanese box art is hardly ever the same as American box art, you’re probably right. I don’t get why they do that, though.
I am a fan of the gold box art.
And as usuall, the japenese artwork is a hell of alot cooler than the American one
wow. that is just awesome, best box art of the year. easily better than marvel vs capcom 3’s. just simply, AWESOME!
this box art relates more to the art style of the game
It looks cool, but with too much stuff going on, not enough separation between each character so I prefer original gold one.
Needs moar gold.
I kind of like this one because it shows the art style of the game being closer to water color, but I still prefer the gold one that we’re getting just because it’s the 25th anniversary.
This looks more lively than the gold one.
Looks nice; however it feels as if there is too much going on, on the cover. Regardless neither the gold nor this one really are my cup of tea for some reason or just feel a bit “off” somehow. Can’t wait to see what people do with custom covers for this game in the future.
For once i actually like the other cover better then the Japanese 1.
Nintendo has been getting better and better with each generation with their box art.
It’s not a Legend of Zelda game if it isn’t gold :)
Tough to choose a fave. The gold is timeless, classic Zelda; this boxart is simply amazing though, but would be better as a poster.
I like the gold one better.
The Japanese is better, in my opinion. More stylistic and not just drowned in gold.
better then plain ass boring gold. Japanese Zelda cover…Me Gusta
Japan wins again
Agree! Japan always wins with their stylish Nintendo game box arts.
Don’t know why in other regions they just make it plain and less artistic :(
