Sigh. They are going to regret this. Avoiding other title is one thing, but being this late is another thing.
The Europeans are only getting it early because they never got the PS2 version……..so its only fair
OF FUCKING COURSE
OF FUCKING COURSE!
I don’t understand why it’s going to take that much amount of time for an American port. I’m assuming (I could be wrong) that the voice actors are the same and the game is going to remain largely the same, so why the extra 3 months?
eh sorry about the second anonymous comment the says the same thing as mine, i didn’t sign in by accident and i didn’t know it posted anonymously
Finally! I’ve been excited for this game since it’s been announced, I’m glad they finally announced the US release date. I am a bit disappointed that I won’t get it in time for Christmas, but oh well, at least I know when to expect it now.
… I can’t wait! XD
Geez, lot’s of people are mad about this. If you really can’t wait a few extra months, then just buy the PS2 version.
I’m so excited for this honestly.
My PS2 is very broken so I was afraid I’d never get to play TotA.
I don’t get why people would be all mad about it. :/
Where is Xenoblade?
If this didn’t hit NA you can expect WiiU to be boycotted.
When will a Nintendo System NOT be region locked?
They could learn something from Sony.
Sony > Nintendo
The Gamecube, DS (Non DSi games), and GBA were all region free. It’s moronic as to why we have region-locking nowadays. Just mod you systems if you want a region free system.
Gamecube wasn’t, but I get your point.
NINTENDO WHY!!!!?????? 14TH NEXT YEAR?
Comeon I HATE REGION LOCKING :(
I never really understand this, I live in Europe but surly the NA release should come out first the European one has to be translated into 5 different langues
I rather have it this way… I’d be too broke this Nov to buy it D:
Use to be what JP, NA, and then EU didn’t it on release line up, now it seems like JP, EU, and then NA ……… sounds like NOA is just slacking off and not careing to much any longer. I really want to hear from hq nintendo on why NOA reeks so bad lately on giving the fans and loyalists of Nintendo what they want. Sure some appreciation NOA for us sticking with you.
Show, not sure*
Uh…
You do realize this is Namco Bandai North America that’s dropping the ball here, right? Like they ALWAYS do when it comes to the Tales Of series?
Seriously, if you’re gonna hate on someone, hate on the right people. NoA has nothing to do with this one.
Your Right, I did not know the history, but still with all the game issues floating around I still think NOA could push more to have things delivered. Its just annoying seeing such great games out there and either they do not make it here or they get jerked around so much on the release dates. Rather it is NOA or the other companies.
No kidding, but in the case of Tales, we’re lucky to get it at all.
Namco Bandai is convinced that North America doesn’t want Tales of Anything, so they almost never bring them over here.
That we’re getting it over here at all is probably thanks to Nintendo’s prodding, and probably financial incentive.
Damn you namco!!! im not buying 2 games the same days, so if the next trailers dont get me as pumped as Twisted metal has, im chosing Twisted metal, ill get this game later on when the price drops
oooo yea twisted metal for sure, u just got me re excited.
I’m not complaining about Europeans getting this earlier but why such a big gap? I doubt they would include new features on the American version of the game.
Three months, really -_-
Same as everyone else here… not really sure why EU is getting it three months ahead of time. I know that there are quite a few things that do need to change between versions, but still….
On the brightside, this means it comes out after everything else and I can devote some time to it instead of trying to squeeze it in between Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and LoZ: Skyward Sword.
Damn! If it wasn’t for this freaking region lock. Whyy??!
How about Tales of Eternia? I want that one so bad :( Even though is a PS1 game..
And Summon Night Series! Port PS2 Summon Night 3! I want the the Japan version.
My PS2 broke long time ago.
At least America is getting a taste of what Europe and Australia had to put up with for so long.
I’m not so angry about getting it after Europe as I am trying to figure out why we DON’T already have it. If the game has no extra features, voiced skits, etc then there’s absolutely no excuse for it to not already be out. That’s just ridiculous.
Oh well, have fun with it Europeans!
This would’ve have been the perfect game to play until the Vita comes out. Now that I see the NA release date is right around the Vita release, I won’t be able to spend anytime on this. What a great way to boost NA sales of this game…
