Rare‘s famed Project Dream, which was the predecessor to the beloved Banjo-Kazooie, appears to have been uploaded to Archive.org. The game was in development for the Super Nintendo before it was canned and morphed into Banjo-Kazooie for the more powerful Nintendo 64 console. Its authenticity is still to be decided, but various Rare staffers have said that it does indeed look legitimate.

It kinda sucks that this was scrapped. This is one of the best looking snes games and it never released. At least we got one of greatest platformers of all time out of this.

Even after becoming Free Radical, and Crytek. That group of developers were top notch.
It still sucks that this game was scrapped by then. It would have been a good SNES game because the background its similar then the Donkey Kong Country games.
