US retail chain Toys ‘R Us is selling Ubisoft’s fantastic 2D platformer for a mere $19.99. The pricing includes the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions as well as Wii. Rayman Origins is one of the best platform games I’ve played since Donkey Kong Country Returns and I would say that it proudly sits alongside Super Mario 3D Land as the best platformer of 2011.
I agree, I encourage others to play this game. I enjoyed every moment of it, and playing it in 1080p on PS3 just adds to the stunning animation and art.
While you’re probably right, don’t let the numbers fool you. It’s probably just 720p upscaled to 1080.

Yeah my mistake, I just turned PS3 on to check and noticed the resolution is only 1080p for the the home menu, then it changed to 720p when i started the game.
