The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Level 5’s all-star collaboration Guild 01 will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on May 17th, and will retail for ¥3,980. Level 5 has yet to announce a Western release for the game, but it will probably be a while before we hear one. Here’s some key information about Guild 01:
Guild 01 is a collection of four unique titles from four different creators. Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51 is working on Liberation Girl, a shooter. Seaman creator Yoot Saito is working on Air Porter, an airport management simulation. Tactics series creator Yasumi Matsuno is working on Crimson Shroud, a traditional tabletalk style RPG. Finally, comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai is working on Rental Weapon Shop, a fantasy RPG where you play as the owner of an RPG weapon shop.

Cool! That means we may expect the game in the US and/or Europe by either the end of the year or (in the worst-case scenario) sometime next year.
Still waiting for Girls RPG: Cinderelife, though, and hoping the VIP anime characters will be kept in the localization.

This collaboration seems interesting. Will most likely buy this if it comes to the U.S. I’m a big fan of Suda51 and Level-5.
