Masachika Kawata, the producer behind the well-received Resident Evil: Revelations, has told IGN that the success of Resident Evil: Revelations has inspired him to create another Resident Evil game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
“The incredibly positive fan reaction to Revelations has definitely given me motivation to make another 3DS RE title.”
“I have some ideas in mind. However, I have a lot of other projects that need to be taken care of first.”

Awesome! I’m not sure if it’d prefer it to be a direct continuation, or something new. They definitely set up a direct sequel. I just hope they bring in a few other character. Claire? She hasn’t done much in awhile. Ada? I’d love to see her doing something outside of Leon. And I’d like to be able to play as the other characters more. We got to play as Chris, like, twice. And MORE bosses. In RE: R, I was never sure if I was fighting a normal boss character, you a variation of the Ooze monster. I’d love it if at least five chapters ended with a boss fight. Also, a few zombies would be cool.
I hope he doe make more resident evil games for the 3ds. Revelation is fun and scary I LOVE IT TO DEATH…………. Great work.

I still didn’t get my copy of Revelations, but I will for sure. I’m more interested in this one than RE6. If this new (possible future) game will keep the feeling from the old games like Revelations did, i’m sure we’re gonna enjoy it.

if this was confirmed for this year my life will be complete with resident evil for this year. first is revelations, then racoon city, then 6 (woohoo two games with leon), and if only there was a new 3DS one… why not do something with that scene at the end of the epilogue/credits thing.

Revelations was seriously awesome! So happy that he loved the 3DS. Got my CPP yesterday and so far have mixed feelings (though using it on the Metal Gear demo was fun as hell!)
re revalation was the best re game ive played i hope we nintendo fans get dlc support for both re revalation and mercanaries 3d love the game
