Ubisoft New IP “Watch Dogs” Revealed

Ubisoft is currently working on a brand-new game, Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs was revealed during Ubisoft’s E3 presentation and a 10-minute demo was showcased. From the looks of the demo, the game’s setting appears to be an urban city during the night. The game boasts an open world, and you have the power to control the city’s infrastructure by using high-tech computers.

Ubisoft did not announce which platforms the game will be released on but it has a good chance of coming to Wii U because Ubisoft is fully supporting the new console. Ubisoft has released a teaser site for Watch Dogs, where you can expect to hear new information about the new game in the future.

      1. You know what… I think you’re right. It could be the Wii U Pro Controller. But we could be wrong.

        1. I am basing this on the fact that the thumb sticks on both sides are near the top which indicates the Wii U. If i am correct I am sure Nintendo tomorrow will make this something to show. If its really the Xbox360 controller… then it is connected to a PC. The graphic fidelity is much better than what the PS3/360 can do for sure.

      2. I’m hearing people say that it was played on PC with an XBox shaped controller.

The systems released on are not officially announced yet so all I can do for now is cross my fingers.

This game would be perfect on Wiiu though. Hacking with the GamePad just makes sense.

        1. That sames really strange.. Maybe they just don’ understand how much more powerful the Wii U is.

      3. it had colored buttons and the right stick seemed to be below them, seemed more like some kind of 360 controller to me

    1. Not too sure about that… the controller also looks the a 360 controller (sure looks like the Wii U pro controller)… but remember that it also works on a PC. The graphics just looks above the best we have seen on both PS3 and Xbox360.

  1. I love that Ubisoft is fully backing the Wii U. Looking forward to seeing the demo of ZombiU at Ninty’s conference tomorrow

  2. I don’t think it will be – I think they didn’t announce any consoles was due to it being aimed for the next xbox/ps3. This demo looked too good for a normal 360 game and it is baffaling to release a new IP at the tail end of the consoles lifetime. I think it isn’t actually that far in development and this was just a very polished up demo (Like FF13’s was years ago when it was still aimed alluded for the PS2).

    1. I agree with you. I did notice the player fingers where on both thumb sticks which were at the top. We will know for sure tomorrow.

      1. I went back and checked – it was a 360 controller. There was one stick on top and the other was below (like on a 360 controller) and the buttons were coloured blue, red, green and yello like on the controller. It was definitely a 360 controller.

        1. I looked at it again… it is the Wii U pro controller. Take a look at it again. The thumb sticks are at the top on both sides.

          1. No it is clearly an Xbox controller. Seriously, go to 8:26 on this video from Gamespot of the Press Conference (It is slightly higher up than the shot earlier in the stream). His right thumb is back and the coloured buttons are above.

    1. Don’t you think Microsoft or Sony would have announced it today during their presentations? I think it’s all good.. and this may just show some of Wii U’s potential……… MAYBE

  3. It probably will be. Oh god, you should have seen how the trolls were running their mouths how the wii u won’t be able to support it because of the stunning graphics. Pure ignorance.

  4. The funniest thing about this game is that is so freaking surreal its scarry. This is is the final evolution to what nightmares we will face in the future, where the Net will turn against us. :(

    1. Same thoughts as me. This looks like it is true. I know the history about that black out is completely true. This is so scary!

    1. I’m sure they know exactly what they’re talking about… considering it’s a Ubisoft game and they didn’t announce it

  5. Sorry guys but this is not a wii u pro controller the buttons are on the out side oof
Thumb pad the wii u controller buttons are under the thumb pad
