Tak Fujii, Producer at Konami Digital Entertainment, has teased on Twitter that Goemon could be making a comeback at some point. Whether or not it’s going to be a digital HD remaster, or a brand new game in the franchise remains to be seen. Mystical Ninja featuring Goemon was an action-adventure video game released by Konami for the Nintendo 64 on April 16, 1998 in North America.

mystical Ninja Starring goemon is the one you want. The other is a 2d game called goemon’s great adventure A bit of a Zelda clone but holds a place in my heart. It is VERY japanese and weird :P

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon was one of the game of my childhood. I don’t understand half of the comments saying that this game was underrated (first, he was not as far as I remember) and is for gay. You progress in a crazy Japan environment with crazy characters, I don’t see what is “gay” in this kind of game. Article is wrong. Geomon appeared in the mid 80s and made his way to the Famicom. The mystical Ninja series lasted until the PS2. Goemon is based on real Ronin from Japan’s Samurai peroids. Whom people have turned into a Robin Hood like character, as time passed. A great game featuring Goemon on the Wii’s Virtual console is the Super Nintendo Mystical Ninja. It’s one of the hardest 16bit games and has 2P coop too
