New Super Mario Bros 2 is back at the top of the Japanese software charts this week. Mario’s latest adventure slipped a few places to number four last week, but has quickly risen back to the top. Nintendo 3DS remains the dominate format in Japan, easily fending of competition from the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

  1. WOW i knew mario will rise back again and sick down the vita. GO MARIO!!!!! On the hardware side when the wiiu is out we gonna see WII U at the top and 3ds second. WOW it’s a great year for Nintendo.

  2. fuck the ps shita , it will never be successfull in the japanese charts , i mean if you do some research the japanese games coming for the 3ds are huge and overwhelming .

    the only chance at number 1 spot ps vita has is PSO2 . that is all . and it comes out near monster hunter 4 so it will get crushed by that …..

  3. the only thing that would have saved vita in japan is monster hunter but once again nintendo beat sony to the punch r.i.p vita you will see the same fate as the pspgo
