Acclaimed developer Cliff Bleszinski has confessed his love for all things Nintendo during a recent Ask Me Anything thread on Reddit. Bleszinski says he will be watching the Wii U carefully as he acknowledged that Nintendo lost some of its original audience with the Wii. He then went on to praise ZombiU, but admitted that the controls need some work.
Being raised on All Things Nintendo I will always I love all things Nintendo.
I’ll be watching the Wii U closely. I think Nintendo may have initially lost a little of their core with the Wii for a bit, honestly, and they seem to have realized this. I believe they also recognize that we live in a “multi-screen” culture hence the controller design. I played ZombiU at PAX and it was promising (even though the controls could use a little loving!) so we’ll have to wait and see.
I sometimes wonder if we’ll find ourselves in a PC/Phone/Tablet future, honestly.

Console gaming wont go until console gamers do. Gamers dont want to play on a phone, thats a fact. The handheld market could take a hit, but you cant beat consoles and PC’s.

Just imagine if the Wii U is out for two years without any competition and you get drones saying the third party support will dry up when the other consoles come out. It would be too much of a risk for developers not to put their games on the Wii U considering the other consoles will have such a limited userbase.
There’s a very good chance. No new console has been announced yet. And if nothing gets unveiled at this year’s E3 than we’ll definitely be waiting 2 years.

I doubt if we will ever see a Nintendo exclusive by Epic Games. Whatever they make next, they want to show off the full capabilities of Unreal Engine 4, which leaves the Wii U out.

Actually the Wii U won’t miss out because Epic did say the Wii U is capable of running UE 4 but they, themselves won’t be supporting it but if other companies wanted to use UE 4 over UE 3.5 then they can so the Wii U won’t miss out.
Plus, Epic still has a lot to offer with their UE 3.5 engine which by what I’ve seen (From across my living room in outerspace) the only platforms that can run it are going to be the Wii U, PS3 (So what) and PC.
3.5 has even come close to its full potential on consoles.

I don’t know much right now. But, I do know is that Epic Games is having an Argument with both Silicon Knights and Microsoft, Both for Different reasons. They already lost there case Against Silicon Knights, killing any hope of Eternal Darkness 2 from coming out. But, most I’ve hearing about Epic Games and Microsoft, is that Epic Games is sick of Microsoft, and is sick of making Xbox games, and would do anything to get out from under Microsoft house. But, Microsoft is forcing them to make yet another Gears of War game. Just like how Microsoft keeped forcing Bungie to make all these Halo games, that Bungie ended up Bargaining for there freedom.
Nintendo knows how to treat developers, Microsoft says what you will make and how you will make it. No freedom for the devs. If you work for Microsoft I feel sorry for you people lol.
Hmm what I got from this article is that he is more interested in playing Nintendo games rather than making games on Nintendo platforms just like Ken Levine. I would be schocked if Cliff and Ken ever made Wii U exclusives.
