A bunch of new information regarding Epic Mickey: The Power of Two has emerged online. We found out yesterday that the game won’t feature off-TV play, so if you’re playing co-op you’ll have to make do with split screen. The game also won’t support Wii Remote’s in single player. Here’s the new details that have found their way online.
- Rainbow Caverns is inspired by an extinct Disneyland attraction, Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland
- Mickey and Oswald must navigate through a cave to a giant rainbow waterfall
- This looks like a Mount Rushmore of Snow White’s dwarves
- You have to fix the waterfall’s piping system
- This allows access to the projector at the end of the level
- Some wells are filled with invisible ink that turns you invisible
- Use this ink in the caverns to sneak past security systems
- A well of indelible ink can be used to coat the characters in a hard golden coat
- This allows you to go through terrain you otherwise couldn’t
- It also prevents a few hits worth of damage from enemies
- Oswald has a remote control that can stun enemies and activate all sorts of contraptions
- Oswald can zap Mickey back to life if he is close enough
- Mickey can paint Oswald back into existence if he expires
- Oswald can also spin his ears as helicopter to help Mickey across large gaps
- Take photos during gameplay to share with friends
- There will be special photo-op spots marked by signs
- Another costume: Mickey can wear a Peter Pan costume
- Sketches allow Mickey to use special limited-use attacks and environmental effects
- Example: dropping an anvil on an enemy or conjuring a giant stop watch that temporarily slows down time
- These sketches can be selected via GamePad
- Every line of speech in the game is preformed

no wiimote and chuck no true gamepad support no stylus screen support no remote play and talk of terrible camera like the first game CHEAP ASSED DEVELOPING if ever there was the wii version needs proper wii controls and a wii remote operated camera and proper wii mote aim
the wiiu needs some form of game pad siupport and second screen and a wii mote and chuck option included and both versions need overalled camera anything less is GAY
Ok, where do you have information that it doesn’t have proper gamepad support? O.O
We don’t know anything about how the gamepad plays yet, we only know for sure it won’t have off TV play, which means, the developers put something important for us to do with the gamepad screen, that we cannot do it with nun-chucks and wii-motes, so that is why we must have the gamepad screen. :p
Right?
its all over this very site and many others
But the original report that it comes from is not very clearly stated and doesn’t use any direct quotes from Disney or their reps. So it’s hard to tell if it’s actually true or not.
I think this game is suitable for young gamers and their families.
If the wii-remote and nunchuk can only be used for player two (as has been reported), then what the heck is this Wii-U branded brush accessory for? Perhaps the lack of support for wii remote has been misreported?
http://gengame.net/2012/10/epic-mickey-2-nunchuk-accessories-confirmed-to-be-compatible-with-wii-u/
that seems even worse than no support
I think this is evidence that it actually does support the wii remote & nunchuk.
As someone pointed out to me, “compatible with Wii U” could just mean you can use them with the Wii version on the Wii U.
The first game got boring and literally put me to sleep. I tried so hard to do my best to finish it but I just couldn’t. I hope this new game is actually really good
The first game only bot boring for me during replays.

I hope this is included in the Frontierland area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_River_Expedition.
I’m so excited for this game. I loved the first one.
