Play More Than 10 Unreleased Games For Wii U And Nintendo 3DS At SXSW


Visitors to this year’s SXSW Gaming Expo will be able to go behind the scenes to experience an exciting lineup of unreleased games and experiences from Nintendo for both the new Wii U home console and the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system, from the latest installments of classic franchises to new software that lets players interact with one another in fresh and exciting ways.

The three-day event will feature the public debut for several Nintendo 3DS games in North America, including a guided demo opportunity with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, as well as playable demos for Nintendo eShop titles HarmoKnight and Kersploosh! Visitors can also play unreleased Wii U titles like the open-world fun of LEGO City Undercover, the high-octane racing of Need for Speed Most Wanted U from Electronic Arts and the team-based action of Monster Hunter Ultimate from Capcom.

Wii U games and applications scheduled to be shown include:

  • Pikmin 3 from Nintendo
  • The Wonderful 101 from Nintendo
  • LEGO City Undercover from Nintendo
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from Capcom
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted U from Electronic Arts
  • Wii Street U powered by Google from Nintendo
  • New Super Mario Bros. U from Nintendo
  • Nintendo Land from Nintendo

Nintendo 3DS games scheduled to be shown include:

  • Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon from Nintendo
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf from Nintendo (guided demonstration)
  • LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins from Nintendo
  • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity from Nintendo
  • Kersploosh! from Nintendo
  • HarmoKnight from Nintendo
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from Capcom
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
  • Fire Emblem Awakening from Nintendo


  1. ugh the game lineup is no good – I bought I Wii U, but I still use my PS3 more often after I finished NSMB and Batman. I hope Nintendo has a strong showing at E3 later in the year.

    1. Don’t worry, I’m sure E3 will be a blast for Nintendo, they are having Mario Kart and 3D Mario Demos for Wii U, aswell as Smash Bros. 4 Screenshots, maybe more than this there, but only time will tell

    Nintendo games are not unmanly. I do not see what is wrong with these Wii U games. It is nothing wrong to cather to hardcore and casual gamers. You mad bro?
