The NPD group has revealed the top ten best-selling games in the United States during the month of March. The well received Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon charted respectably at number six. The best-selling game of the month was Bioshock Infinite which was released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Sadly, Lego City: Undercover and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate didn’t make the top ten. Here’s the best-selling games.

i have a serious question for you. will you like the wii u if it has more, amazing, pretty games? becasue that seems to be your main complaint. i can understand you saying the wii u has few games but saying its weak is just stupid. you compare it to things like ps4 tech demos when i can almost garentee you the early ps4 graphics will look horrible compared to those. its happened to every console. the wii Us graphics may be bad now but will boost in the future when people know how to use it. graphics is one thing but i completely agree with you about wanting games. i cant wait for E3 because thats when they announce and detail a ton of games most likely. looking for release dates for things like bayonetta 2, wonderful 101, and monolith soft X. I agree that new consoles are good for new games, that’s the purpose. But, we all know that the initial line up is not good for any console, it’s always dry. Some games you are still enjoying on your old console, or you still buy some great games for it. that’s what retro compatibility is for, transition time, mostly.
The last game I bought for my Wii was Xenoblade, I’ve put 50 hours into the game. I had to unplug my wii from my TV in order to place the Wii U in my living room, so I transfered the saves and continued playing on my Wii U. that’s is great for fans, it’s expected.

Alright, not bad. I plan to get 5 out of the 10 games on that list. It’s great that Luigi’s Mansion 2 was able to make it. I’m hoping that it gets a sequel in a couple of years because it’s good to have at least one Luigi series to go along with the massive amounts of Mario games
While I would have loved to see LEGO City and Monster Hunter here, cause they deserve it just as much as everything else on this list, I think BioShock deserves the #1 spot because everyone deserves to play that great game.

Someone does well, I will acknowledge it, whether it be Nintendo, Microsoft (I don’t like them at the moment after the Orth fiasco, though) Sony, hell, even freaking Atari.

It would cost them very little investment to port Bioshock Infinite or Tomb Raider or Dead Space 3 or Crysis 3 or GTA 5 or DMC or Metal Gear Rising Revengence or Metal Gear Solid 5 to Wii U.The truth is software community wants to end used game sales. They look at their games selling 1 million or whatever and they figure out that these same game they sold one million units resells 2 million times or more on used games market and they are mad, they don’t like Used video game stores making money off of the game they made. They want to make it so you don’t own your game, it will never be a collectors item, they want you to buy a license to use their game. Nintendo said no, software community is using their clout to hurt Nintendo. It would cost next to nothing to port Bioshock Infinite to Wii U, but they sacrifice whatever sales they may have on Wii U because they see Nintendo as their enemy.
It is hard to see the difference between high end pc versions of Xbox 360 games and the actual Xbox 360 games. the PS4 and next Xbox are not even as powerful as high end pc’s. so the difference between this current gen and next gen is minimal, also the Wii U is more powerful than this gen. The truth is software community wants to end used game sales. Nintendo said no, software community is sacrificing sales on Wii U to hurt Nintendo. It can not cost hardly anything to port Bioshock Infinite to Wii U. Software community wants to go all download too.
All the hype of PS4 and NeXtbox aside. The big battle this Christmas is still going to be between Xbox 360 and PS3, all the new games on the next generation will come to Xbox 360 and PS3 as well as PS4 and NeXtbox. (Destiny, Watchdogs) Therefore, WiiU biggest competition is still Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS4 and NeXtbox are in the same boat as WiiU, making an argument to buy a new generation to an over saturated current generation that is still getting phenomenal games. (Last OF Us, GTA5, Bioshock Infinite, etc.) Will PS4 and NeXtbox have a different experience or better graphics, not really. Wii U needs more better games, with compelling experiences and better graphics with a price cut or it loses this Christmas. I see Xbox winning again or maybe PS3, but if Wii U finally gets games and price cuts, with it and the combination of Wii, DSiXL, 3DS, Nintendo could pull it out, but Wii U needs games and nobody is making games for Wii U, so I see Xbox 360 or PS3 doing very well.
If the Xbox 360 and PS3 price drops below $150 when the new systems come out, that will hurt Nintendo more than anything. And the Xbox 360 will sell like Atari 2600.
The majority of those games are multiplatform and is the only reason to why the Xbox really exists anywhere…
And Sony Dominion’s success should also be included, without the 3rd party games, they would only be a mediocre choice…
I dunno, it seems more like Microsoft’s Xbox 360 would be the mediocre choice to the PlayStation. Microsoft has very few IPs of their own, aside from Halo and many of the Rare franchises, but the games that come out from those range from mediocre to just plain bad. I would say that the only reason the 360 even sells is because of the abundance of indie titles on LIVE Arcade, but those appeal to a very thin minority, unfortunately (Shame, too. I love Fez, even if the creator of that is a total ass).
My knowledge of the platform is really thin, so maybe so many games come out for it because it’s easy to develop for. That seems like the only reason why many games for the 360 come out here. That and its popularity. I think I’ve rambled enough about the 360.
