3D Altered Beast Coming To Japanese 3DS eShop

Altered-BeastReady for another SEGA classic to render its 16-bit images straight to your eyes in complete 3D? Well, even if the west aren’t ready, Japan are, and it’s coming to the 3DS console at the end of this month. Priced at 600 yen, 3D Altered Beast, enables you to play in local co-op mode and transform yourself into an all-action, all-snarling beast of nature.

It may not have the following that other SEGA classics have, but it’s a simplistic punch and kick title that will, most probably, have you howling in semi-frustrated enjoyment. 3D Altered Beast is available for download in the Japanese eShop May 29 – a western release is currently unconfirmed.

  1. Yet another unmanly game comes out for Nintendo’s eShop. I mean, what fucking failures they are. Why would any self-respecting gamer ever get a 3DS?

    1. You know what’s funny? Your avatar looks like a fat man with no penis. Sort of like real life?

  2. Cool idea, though I wonder if it will be the arcade or Genesis version. There are subtle differences like with Golden Axe.
