Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada Seems To Be Missing

katsuhiro_harada

Katsuhiro Harada, a Namco Bandai Games producer who is best known for the Tekken series, is reportedly missing. According to a tweet that was supposedly sent out by the Tekken Project support team, Harada has been missing from office for a week so far. The team says it’s still searching for him. If he really is missing, we hope that Harada is found safe and sound. The tweet sent out by the team – via Harada’s Twitter account – can be read below:

Update from the Tekken team: There appear to be some news articles worrying for Harada-san’s safety. However, we were able to confirm he has been logged into Steam daily, so we believe he is OK, but just has not shown up for work.

Thanks, The best tip guy in the world

    1. My guess is dumbass trolls will come and state that he suicided due to bad sales of Tag Tournament 2 on Wii U.

    2. exactly its a e3 pr stunt, they are trying to think out side the box like kojima does, maybe the part where they say he has been logging into steam but not going work is because they are releasing something on steam on pc, who knows! its just a stupid idea lol

  1. sounds terrible, like something out of a movie. Im surprised more folks arent asking if pikachu from super smash bros is ok…lbs

  2. Nintendo Commander

    My theories:

    1. E3 scam
    2. Suicide
    3. Depressed
    4. Kidnapped by the Xbots
    5. Kidnapped by the Electrons
    6. A stupid joke

  3. personalyif you people realy think hes missing you guys need a head check it is a joke or they would have posted more about it. and not something so vague

  4. Hope that he is ok and that nothing serious happens, but at the same time I hope this isn’t something that has to do with e3 or anything.

  5. It’s amazing how lightly people are taking this, I’m assuming there’s something that I’m missing that causes people to see this as a joke… Otherwise fuck you guys.

    1. It would be a whole other story if it wasn’t right up the E3 alley…

And neither of us has a reason to overreact either even though it’s tragic that if something indeed happened to him…

    2. Well, a few reasons:
1: This very well could be a joke.
2: There’s nothing we can do about things in any case.
3: It’s better than being depressed over it so long as the jokes don’t go too far.

  6. That sucks if he’s legitimately missing, hopefully he turns up, but i really wana make a on disc DLC joke about SF X Tekken, hidden characters.

  7. This is 1 of two things. To build up hype for E3…if so terrible plan. 2nd he is actually missing. If so this is terrible news. We will find out next week. If he isnt at E3 there theres a big issue here.

    1. So….he’s blowing off work, playing hookie for some game time. Who hasn’t done that once or twice?

  11. Maybe he went on a Pokémon journey, or he’s studying to be the world’s greatest hide-&-seek champion. But seriously though, I hope he’s ok.

  12. Maybe…
The Mishima Zaibatsu is REAL. And the real Heihachi Mishima took Hirai because he used his character.

  15. How is his Steam account being accessed any indication of anything? Steam launches on boot by default, so all that means is that someone’s been on his computer every day, not necessarily him.
