Square Enix has confirmed Bravely Default: For the Sequel will be coming to Japan in December. Despite the name it is not actually a sequel, instead its an evolution of the first game in an attempt to improve the original game for new consumers. Bravely Default: For the Sequel will have new events, reformed controls, an auto-battle mode, and a quad-speed battle option. Gamers can also have three save slots and choose their own difficulty level. Bravely Default: For the Sequel is due to launch on December 5th in Japan.

That’s why the Europe release date was delayed? Hope so, I want the improved version.
second
I’d find that to be fine. Its kinda like releasing a directors cut version for a 2011 game in japan. America and Europe should get this right off the bat first though.
My thought.
Strange name haha but all I really care about is when we can get it in the west. The details are that it’s coming out next year right?
I’m guessing this also confirms the long rumoured sequel? I wonder if it’s called that because some of the new story scenes tie into the story of the currently unannounced sequel?
Well “for the sequel” sounds like there making there way to a sequel.
