Bravely Default Gets A New Name In Europe

bravely_default_screenYesterday, Nintendo reconfirmed that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be swooping over to Europe sometime this year. But it will receive a slight name change. We had previously reported that Nintendo were looking to change the name in Europe, but when nothing had been confirmed, it was thought that the game would retain its Japanese name just like it had in North America. However, a listing on Nintendo’s press website was spotted along with a few screenshots, which confirmed the name change. Bravely Default: Where The Fairy Flies is confirmed for release later this year on the 3DS, a specified date has yet to be determined.

  1. In other news, Sonic the Hedgehog: Lost Worlds has been renamed, “Lost Worlds: A Hedgehog Named Sonic” for its Euro release.

  2. Honestly, i’ve waited so long for this game, i almost don’t care anymore. Square Enix localisation is awful. They put Capcom and Atlus to shame.

      1. No, localisation. That’s the english spelling of it. America was just like “urrrr probably put a z in there! Cos it’s sure do sound like a z”
